Julianne Moore ganó como Mejor Actriz en una Película, drama para Still Alice, superando a Jennifer Aniston, Felicity Jones, Rosamund Pike, y Reese Witherspoon. Mientras que Eddie Redmayne ganó como Mejor Actor en una Película, drama para The Theory of Everythin, superando a Steve Carell, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jake Gyllenhaal, y David Oyelowo.
Amy Adams ganó como Mejor Actriz en una Película, Comedia o Musical por los Big Eyes, superando a Emily Blunt, Julianne Moore, Quvenzhané Wallis, y Helen Mirren.
