La tienda de discos World of Echo ha anunciado a través de Instagram que ofrecerá más de 300 discos de la colección privada de Thurston Moore. Los registros estarán disponibles en su ubicación 128 Columbia Road en Londres el 5 de octubre.

Los discos a la venta incluyen una «amplia gama de géneros, que abarca múltiples variantes de jazz, noise, hardcore, black metal, etnográfico, punk y post-punk, no-wave, krautrock, ambient, electrónica y vanguardia», la publicación lee, y agrega que «varios de los registros son altamente coleccionables o raramente vistos».

La venta coincide con el inicio de la gira de Moore en apoyo de Spirit Counsel, un conjunto de 3xCD de «piezas instrumentales épicas» que saldrá el 21 de septiembre a través de la serie Daydream Library. Recientemente lanzó una versión de «Leave Me Alone» de New Order, grabada con un equipo de músicos de Manchester en Salford, Inglaterra.

**BIG NEWS KLAXON** Thrilled to announce that on Saturday 5th October we will be selling over 300 records sourced from the private collection of Thurston Moore. As would be expected given Moore’s relationship to the underground and lifelong engagement with various music cultures, the selection compromises a broad range of genres, spanning multiple variants of jazz, noise, hardcore, black metal, ethnographic, punk and post-punk, no-wave, krautrock, ambient, electronic and the avant garde. Unsurprisingly, a number of the records are highly collectible or rarely seen. The collection wil not be availabe to purchase online and will only be accessible by visiting the shop. In advance of the day, we will be revealing a sample of some of the available titles via Instagram.
