Calexico están de vuelta con el seguimiento de Algiers de 2012 y de su álbum en vivo de 2013, Spiritoso. Su nueva placa se llama Edge Of The Sun, y cuenta con colaboraciones de Neko Case, Sam Beam de Iron & Wine, Ben Bridwell de Band of Horses, Nick Urata de DeVotchka, Gaby Moreno, y la artista mexicana Carla Morrison, entre otros más.
